Regenerative Health

Tracy Murdoch, owner of Balance to Bliss Yoga in Blockhouse, Nova Scotia, sits cross-legged on the floor. She engages in conversation with a female student.

Welcome to your new path of vibrant, lasting wellness. I’m so glad you’re here! At Balance to Bliss, I believe your body is brilliantly designed to heal.

Regenerative Health is about getting to the root cause, not just managing symptoms, as well as preventative care. Trained under Carrie Drinkwine at the Institute of Regenerative Health, I guide you through a proven process of detoxing what’s no longer serving you and rebuilding your body with deep nourishment from nature’s wisdom.

Regenerative Health is a powerful, science-based system rooted in the understanding that the body is designed to heal itself when given the right support. It focuses on identifying and removing the true causes of imbalance—such as mineral deficiencies, toxicity, and chronic stress—while restoring the body’s natural function through nutrition, cellular support, emotional clearing, and mindset work. This approach doesn’t mask symptoms; it seeks to create lasting transformation from the inside out.

This isn’t a quick fix — it’s a return to the vibrant, balanced, and blissful you. Ready to feel like yourself again? Let’s begin.

Reiki

I am a Master Level Certified Reiki Practitioner and offer individual reiki treatments.

Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the client by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the client’s body to restore physical and emotional well-being. Reiki helps our own healing systems work to their full potential. It is deeply relaxing, calming and balances the energy centres (chakras) of the body. It helps in the healing of injuries, detoxifies and aids in recovery from emotional trauma. I work with the vibrations of sound (my voice as well as singing bowls and other instruments) to assist me in these sessions.

Reiki is a hands-on healing technique originating in Japan. Reiki, pronounced “ray-key,” means universal life force.

Tracy Murdoch, owner of Balance to Bliss Yoga in Blockhouse, Nova Scotia performs reiki on a female client who is lying down on a reiki table.

Treatments are 1-on-1, and can take place either hands-on or at a distance. Reiki is effective whether the practitioners hands are directly on the client, or thousands of miles away. Energy knows no time or distance. It is intention, focus, and attention that is important, no matter how the treatment is set up. The recipient needs to plan on laying down and relaxing during the designated reiki time, to allow themselves to receive the reiki energy fully.

Sacred Sound & Mantra

Tracy Murdoch, owner of Balance to Bliss Yoga in Blockhouse, Nova Scotia plays her harmonium and chants a mantra in her screened in gazebo. A shaft of light lands on her head and shoulders.

These practices draw from the yogic tradition of mantra and nada yoga, as well as intuitive sound healing, creating a space where the mind softens, the heart opens, and the body remembers its natural rhythm. Whether sung aloud, whispered, or felt internally, mantra becomes a bridge back to stillness, clarity, and a deeper sense of belonging within yourself.

Sound is one of the most ancient and powerful forms of healing, and mantra is its living heartbeat. Through chanting, kirtan, mantra meditation, and gentle toning, I guide people into a direct experience of how vibration moves through the body, nervous system, and energy field.

Sometimes you will be invited to receive the sound, allowing the voice and mantra to wash over you like a bath of resonance. Other times you will be guided to create the sound yourself, using your own voice, breath, and awareness to awaken inner harmony and emotional release.

You are welcome to gather in community for kirtan (check the Events page for the next offering), or to book a private sound and mantra session created just for your body, heart, and nervous system.

Pranassage

Tracy Murdoch, owner of Balance to Bliss Yoga in Blockhouse, Nova Scotia presses a male client's gently shoulders down on a pranassage mat.

As a certified Pranassage Practitioner, I offer deeply relaxing  1-on-1 yoga sessions. The recipient is moved into a variety of yoga poses and then my hands are used to draw your attention to various parts of your body in each pose.

The intention of Pranassage is deep relaxation and the basis for this modality is “Where awareness goes, prana (energy) flows”.

Pranassage helps to bring awareness into the body, and your experience of sensation helps to move the energy, which provides balance and relief to every part of your being. Some recipients also notice, as their body is moved into poses by the giver (me), there is the ability to go deeper than was previously possible.
