New Yoga Studio

I’m delighted to announce that I’ve partnered with Alexandra Nedergaard of Salt and Honey Holistic Health and Wellness to offer all of our yoga classes together… in our beautiful new studio in Blockhouse, N.S. at 566 NS-325 (next to Sam Ali’s General Store).

Alexandra and I will be combining our energies and positive intentions in this new space. Starting in September, all of our classes will be available under a pass system (single class, ten classes, or monthly unlimited). Even better, a pass entitles you to attend any yoga class held by either teacher!

All of our yoga classes will be available either in-person or online. For in-person classes, we’ve instituted an online booking system. This enables us to ensure that no class will contain more people than the limit required to maintain social distancing. If you prefer to do yoga in the comfort of your home, any in-person class will also be available over Zoom!

We offer a variety of passes to suit your schedule and your needs (see schedule below). To purchase a pass, please visit our shop at the Salt and Honey website.

Class Schedule

MONDAYS
4:00 PM Gentle/Chair Yoga with Tracy (60 min)
Partly seated in a chair. Emphasis on de-stressing, breathing, and gentle postures. Healing, relaxing, and easy stretches.

6:00 PM All Levels Vinyasa with Tracy (75 min)
Create inner heat as you move with your breath through poses that will improve your balance, strength and flexibility, as well as open and expand your emotional body and heart. Open to all levels.

TUESDAYS
10:00 AM Chair Yoga with Alexandra (60 min)
Partly seated in a chair. Emphasis on de-stressing, breathing, and gentle postures. Healing, relaxing, and easy stretches.

WEDNESDAYS
9:30 AM Vinyasa + Yin with Tracy (75 min)
Flow with the breath through strengthening and heating poses in vinyasa, as well as sink into meditative stillness in yin. Finding a balance between movement and stillness in our practice can help us find balance in the rest of our daily life.

6:00 PM Intermediate Flow with Alexandra (75 min)
A strengthening meditative sequence of postures that include some inversions, encouraging you to feel your body, center your awareness, and relax fully into the moment.

THURSDAYS

4:00 PM Yin/Yang Yoga with Alexandra (60 min)
A combination of Flowyoga with a meditative yet strengthening sequence of postures for the first half hour, with the final half hour of Yin Yoga focusing on the low back, hips, and groin. Deeply relaxing, calming the mind and reducing stress.

FRIDAYS
9:00 AM Gentle Flow Yoga with Alexandra (75 min)
A gentle, meditative yet strengthening sequence of postures, encouraging you to feel your body, centre your awareness, and relax fully into the moment.

4:00 PM Restorative Reiki Yoga with Tracy (60 mins)
Looking for a way to balance and ground yourself in these uncertain times? Restorative yoga achieves this through long, meditative stretches plus this class includes energy healing with distance reiki and sound healing (singing bowls, rain sticks, chanting) for a deep healing and peaceful experience. This class starts October 9th.

SATURDAYS
9:30 AM All-levels Vinyasa with Tracy (75 mins)

SUNDAYS
11:00 AM Yin Yoga with Alexandra (60 min)
All poses on the floor, working low back, hips, and groin. Improves strength and deep relaxation. Calms the mind and reduces stress.
